At the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), held in Goa, Boman Irani shared his excitement about the festival’s growing significance. Having attended several film festivals this year, he emphasized that IFFI holds a special place, as it is India’s very own film festival, growing in popularity each year. This year is particularly meaningful for him, as his directorial debut, The Mehta Boys, is making its Asia premiere at the event on November 25, 2024. The film, a poignant drama about a father and son navigating a strained relationship over 48 hours, has already earned acclaim at various international festival.
