Amit Palekar, President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Goa, recently addressed allegations of a job scam that he claims is prevalent under the current BJP government. During a public meeting, Palekar emphasized that many job appointments have been made without following due processes, and he accused the government of favoring certain constituencies, particularly those represented by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Health Minister Vishwajit Rane.
Palekar expressed concerns about the integrity of the recruitment processes, suggesting that job seekers often face demands for bribes or need to have political connections to secure positions. He announced that AAP would establish a hotline for reporting corruption related to job recruitment, further pledging that if elected, they would ensure that those responsible for such scams are held accountable and that any money taken from candidates would be returned.
The issue of recruitment irregularities has gained traction, with Palekar indicating that this scam is merely “the tip of the iceberg,” and promising that AAP would take substantial action against those involved.
