Chief Minister Pramod Sawant inaugurated the Coutband Fisheries Co-operative Society in Velim, alongside Fisheries Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar and Law & Environment Minister Aleixo Sequeira. The CM congratulated the local fishermen and allied professionals for their collaboration in forming the society. He emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting the cooperative movement, highlighting plans from the Union Cooperation Ministry to introduce a new policy. The CM expressed confidence that this society will enhance fisheries activities and contribute to the vision of Swayampurna Goa.
