Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, passed away at 86 after a prolonged illness on October 9, 2024. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, where he had been undergoing treatment in the ICU. Tata’s visionary leadership transformed the Tata Group into a global conglomerate with major milestones such as the launch of the Tata Nano and the acquisition of Jaguar Land Rover.
