Key measures discussed included enhanced surveillance by the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) and closer scrutiny of employment advertisements to curb exploitation. Law enforcement highlighted the challenges in securing convictions, particularly when victims retract their statements, underscoring the importance of victim rehabilitation and community vigilance.

The police also stressed the role of families in monitoring online activities, given that many trafficking cases begin with digital connections. The authorities have reiterated their commitment to strengthening conviction rates and ensuring prompt action against offenders to prevent such heinous crimes.
