AAP’s Amit Palekar Urges Congress to Strengthen INDIA Alliance with Trust and Transparency.
Amit Palekar, the President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Goa, has expressed concerns about recent statements made by Congress leaders regarding the future of the INDIA alliance. Addressing the media, Palekar criticized the Congress for allegedly misleading the public by stating that the elections will proceed as usual under the INDIA alliance without confirming the alliance’s long-term unity.
Palekar stressed the need for alliance partners to maintain absolute trust and mutual respect, essential for the coalition’s success. Referring to past political dynamics in Haryana and Maharashtra, he warned against similar issues arising in Goa, which could lead to public discontent.
In his comments, Palekar reaffirmed AAP’s commitment to strengthening the INDIA alliance and emphasized the importance of transparency, urging Congress to clearly state whether the alliance will remain intact until 2027. He announced plans to convene an official meeting of alliance partners by the end of the week to address these concerns and ensure unity moving forward.
