She praised the festival’s efforts to highlight global and Indian cinema while acknowledging Goa’s role as an attractive cultural and cinematic hub.

Tagore, a beloved figure in both Bengali and Hindi cinema, returned to acting with Gulmohar in 2023 and continues to inspire generations of film enthusiasts. During the festival, she participated in a tribute to Mohammed Rafi, performing his iconic song Aasmaan Se Aaya Farishta alongside Sonu Nigam, bringing nostalgia to the audience.
