Chairman of Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTCL) and MLA Ulhas Tuenkar discussed the latest developments in Goa’s public transport sector. He emphasized the importance of upgrading the aging KTCL bus fleet, with 140 private bus owners ready to contribute to the initiative. The replacement of old buses is aimed at improving transport services for commuters. Tuenkar also highlighted the introduction of electric buses and outlined plans for a new bus stand in Margao, which will be constructed through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, with an estimated cost of ₹200 crore.
