Warren Alemao has demanded the sealing of illegal scrap yards in Benaulim, citing their impact on the local environment and infrastructure. He identified three scrapyards managed by Anil Kumar, Sai Malkanikar, and Hudush Hubli, highlighting their operations handling materials like paper, plastic, glass, and hotel waste.

Alemao raised concerns about the lack of proper facilities and licenses at these sites. He also pointed out that these scrapyards block critical passages, leading to flooding in areas such as Mungul, Seraulim, and Benaulim. He questioned why these operators are still allowed to function without accountability and called for decisive action from the authorities to resolve these issues swiftly.
