In response to a viral video featuring fugitive Siddiqi Suleman Khan alleging police involvement in his escape, Goa’s Director General of Police (DGP) Alok Kumar stated that the video appears to be a tactic to divert attention from the ongoing efforts to locate the fugitive. He emphasized that the Goa Police’s focus remains on apprehending Khan and that the video should not be taken seriously unless he is re-arrested.

DGP Kumar further noted that the allegations in the video seem to be a strategy by a “hardened and clever criminal” to mislead the investigation. He assured the public that the police are committed to tracking down Khan and that the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
