In the wake of a viral video featuring fugitive Siddiqi Suleman Khan alleging police involvement in his escape, opposition leaders in Goa have called for immediate action. Congress leader Sunil Kawthankar released the video, which purportedly shows Khan naming police officials and an MLA in connection with his escape.

AAP Goa President Valmiki Naik has demanded the release of CCTV footage from the facility on December 12, as claimed by Khan, to substantiate the allegations. Naik emphasized the need for transparency and accountability, stating that the government’s silence on the matter is concerning.

In response, Goa’s Director General of Police, Alok Kumar, questioned the authenticity of the video, suggesting it might be a tactic to divert attention from the police’s efforts to locate Khan. He assured that investigations are ongoing and that the police are committed to apprehending the fugitive.
