The Directorate of Art and Culture has commenced the distribution of application forms for stalls at the upcoming Lok Utsav 2024. Interested participants can collect forms from the Directorate’s office at Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto, Panaji, between December 17 and December 18, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The application fee is ₹10, and it’s mandatory to present an Artisan Card and photo ID (EPIC/Election Card) to obtain the form for handicraft stalls.
The festival is scheduled to take place from January 26 to February 4, 2024, at Darya Sangam, Kala Academy, Campal, Panaji. This annual National Folk Festival, organized in collaboration with the West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, aims to showcase the rich cultural heritage of India through various folk arts and crafts.
