On the 63rd Goa Liberation Day, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant emphasized the government’s commitment to achieving ‘Viksit Goa 2037,’ a vision for a developed and prosperous state. Speaking at the celebrations, he highlighted Goa’s progress since liberation from Portuguese rule in 1961 and paid tribute to freedom fighters.
CM Sawant outlined initiatives focused on sustainable economic growth, social welfare, and environmental conservation to enhance the state’s infrastructure, healthcare, education, and tourism. Addressing recent criticisms, he reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to its developmental agenda despite challenges. The event also featured cultural programs and the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag, celebrating Goa’s unity and heritage.
