MLA and Goa Forward Party President, Vijai Sardesai, has voiced his concerns over the Goa government’s handling of the Mhadei river dispute. He expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s lack of urgency and the delay in taking necessary steps to protect the state’s interests.
Sardesai’s frustration grew following the postponement of a crucial House Committee meeting about the issue, which had been pushed from December 27, 2024, to January 10, 2025. He raised doubts about the government’s dedication to addressing the ongoing water conflict with Karnataka over the Mhadei river.
