On January 1, 2025, Governor P.S. Sreedharan Pillai extended his warm wishes to the people of Goa, highlighting the significance of the New Year as a time for fresh starts and growth. He acknowledged the state’s accomplishments over the past year, such as the completion of the Mopa Link Road and the opening of the Mopa Airport, which are expected to enhance Goa’s economy.
