Amit Patkar Criticizes Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar Over Delay in Disqualification Petition Decision.

The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President, Amit Patkar, has criticized the Goa Assembly Speaker, Ramesh Tawadkar, over delays in hearing a petition related to disqualification cases involving rebel Congress MLAs. In a statement, Patkar expressed frustration with what he termed as the Speaker “showing his colours” by not addressing the petition swiftly. The petition, which has been pending for a long time, alleges that certain MLAs violated guidelines set by the Supreme Court of India. Patkar is committed to exposing those responsible for what he views as corruption and substandard work in the government. He also plans to pursue legal action through the police, the Lokayukta, and the High Court if necessary.
