Vijai Sardesai, President of the Goa Forward Party, has voiced his opposition to the BJP government’s decision to limit the upcoming state assembly session to just two days in February 2025. He criticized the move, calling it a “disservice to democracy” and alleging that the government is avoiding necessary scrutiny.
In response, Sardesai vowed to organize a “People’s Assembly” to directly confront and challenge the BJP government. He highlighted the need for greater transparency and participation, accusing the government of shying away from addressing key issues in the legislative forum.
