The veneration of St. Francis Xavier’s relics has officially concluded, with the sacred remains now being returned to the Basilica of Bom Jesus. A solemn procession led the relics from Se Cathedral back to their resting place at the Basilica, marking the end of a 45-day exposition.

The event, which began on November 21, 2024, attracted thousands of devotees who paid their respects to the saint’s relics.
