Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude hosted a press conference to share details about Lokotsav 2025, which will be held from January 17 to 26 at Kala Academy’s Darya Sangam. The event will feature more than 550 stalls displaying traditional crafts from across India and performances by over 600 folk artists.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, along with other dignitaries, will inaugurate the festival. The event will provide a platform for artisans and performers to showcase their work, while fostering cultural exchange.
Gaude also announced a special “Tribal Craft Mela” at the festival, which will focus on tribal crafts and cuisine, in collaboration with the Directorate of Tribal Welfare and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, New Delhi.
