The construction of the elevated highway at Porvorim is advancing quickly, with preparations underway for the installation of six slabs for the flyover. This project is designed to ease traffic flow and improve connectivity along the National Highway-66 (NH-66).

As of December 2024, significant progress has been made, with 12 piers already in place and additional foundations being completed for further piers. The work is on track to be finished ahead of the original timeline, expected by the end of 2025.

This flyover will feature six lanes, with additional two-lane flyovers on the sides, extending from Sangolda and nearing Hotel Majestic. The development is expected to reduce congestion in this busy area.
