On January 19, 2025, Union Minister Shripad Naik, Calangute MLA Michael Lobo, and Calangute Sarpanch Joseph Sequeira officially inaugurated a newly constructed community hall in Calangute. The facility, developed under the Calangute Panchayat, is designed to host local events, social gatherings, and community programs, aiming to strengthen public engagement and provide a dedicated space for residents.
