Chief Minister Pramod Sawant recently honored talented individuals and institutions with the Goa State Cultural Awards and Yuva Srujan Puraskar, recognizing their contributions to the state’s art and culture.

The Goa State Cultural Awards were conferred upon 12 distinguished personalities for their dedication to music, drama, literature, and folk art. Each recipient was awarded ₹1 lakh for their efforts in preserving and promoting cultural heritage.

Yuva Srujan Puraskar (Navsarjan Chetana Puraskar), This award aims to recognize young artists (aged 25-40) excelling in various creative fields. Six individuals were awarded ₹25,000 each for their contributions.
