Accused:- 1) Dr. Meena Pooja Gop and 2) Arvind Gop s/o Mr. Sandeep Gop r/о Mapusa Goa.

DTPO:- On from September 2020 to till date at TNK, at Sorvem Waddo Guirim Badez Goa.

Brief facts of case: Both accused persons acted as an recruiting agent and induced the complainant to provide job in sales departments at overseas in New Zealand and induced the complainant to send money through Gpay and cash of Rs. 8,50,000/- in different transactions as processing fees and both accused have failed to provide job at New Zealand, thereby cheated the complainant on pretext of providing overseas job of amount of Rs 8,50,000/- and also accused No. 1 have prepared a forged visa document. Further, it is revealed that accused No. 1 and accused No. 2 have failed to provide job at New Zealand to 12 other victims thereby cheated the complainant and 12 victims to the tunes of Rs 27,73,540/- in different transactions on pretext of providing job at aboard. Thereby, the accused persons with their common intention cheated the complainant and other 12 victims on pretext of providing overseas job by acting as a recruiting agent and also prepared a forged Visa.

Crime Branch PS Cr. No. 18/2025 U/Sec. 318, 336 r/w 3 (5) of BNS 2023 & Sec 10 of Emigration Act 1983 stand registered. First accused Dr Meena (skin specialist) has been arrested. Probe is underway to find second accused.
