Goa’s Environment Minister, Alexio Sequeira, recently visited Majorda Beach alongside a team of environmental scientists to assess the condition of the coastline. This study aims to investigate the increasing erosion along Goa’s beaches, particularly at Majorda, where coastal changes have been affecting both the ecosystem and local tourism. The team is conducting in-depth research on the impact of rising sea levels, sand loss, and other environmental concerns that could be damaging to the natural landscape.
