A group of temple committee members and social activists, including North Goa MP Shripad Naik, are working to address concerns about a flyover project near a village temple in Goa. The activists delivered a memorandum to Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, at his residence in Delhi, seeking assurance that the temple, which lies along the planned road, will not be affected. Gadkari has assured them that road experts will be sent within 2-3 days to evaluate the situation and propose solutions.
This aligns with Gadkari’s broader commitment to Goa’s infrastructure projects, where he has emphasized balancing development with local concerns.
