The scam has drawn widespread criticism, with opposition leaders and activists, including Advocate Coutinho, demanding strict action against those involved. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has pledged to recover money from the accused by seizing their properties and returning it to the victims. He assured the public that arrests will continue irrespective of political affiliations, emphasizing transparency in recruitment through the State Staff Selection Commission​.
