AAP President Amit Palekar took to Twitter to criticize the condition of government schools in Merces, highlighting the poor infrastructure and lack of proper resources. In his tweet, Palekar accused the BJP-led government of neglecting the education system, stating, “This is the state of Government School in Merces. @BJP4Goa Government led by CM @DrPramodPSawant is playing with the lives of teachers and the 100+ students left in the school who are forced to study there due to their poor condition.” He expressed disbelief at the Chief Minister’s claim of an increase in the number of students in government schools.
Palekar also compared Goa’s education facilities with those in Delhi and Punjab, where the AAP has improved school conditions. He suggested that AAP Goa should adopt a school to demonstrate how education can be transformed under their leadership.
