Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated a 7.5 million liters per day (MLD) Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Colva, Benaulim constituency. The project, costing ₹55 crore, aims to enhance sewage management and promote environmental sustainability in the region.

Several dignitaries, including Law and Environment Minister Aleixo Sequeira, MLA Venzy Viegas, and Zilla Panchayat Chairperson Vania Tista, were present at the event. This modern facility is expected to improve waste management infrastructure and contribute to maintaining Colva’s ecological balance.
