Former State Information Commissioner Adv. Juino De Souza has praised the recently concluded exposition, calling it “perfect” and a historic event that will be remembered for centuries. However, he raised important concerns about the future of the infrastructure developed for the event.

Highlighting the government’s substantial investment in building facilities, especially cottages for the exposition, De Souza questioned whether these structures would remain idle for the next 10 years until the next event. He urged the government to take a conscious decision to ensure these infrastructures are utilized effectively, benefitting the community in the interim.

De Souza also directed suggestions to the Church authorities, questioning the rationale behind holding the exposition only once every 10 years. He proposed reducing the interval to 3-5 years or even lowering the sacred casket on feast days, allowing more devotees to experience its sanctity and spiritual significance.

While applauding the success of the recent exposition, De Souza emphasized the importance of carrying this forward, ensuring that both the spiritual and practical aspects of such a grand event are sustained and utilized effectively in the future.
