First Russian Tourist Charter Flight Arrives at Dabolim Airport with Traditional Goan Welcome.
The first tourist charter flight from Russia has landed at Dabolim Airport, marking a significant milestone in Goa’s tourism revival. The flight, which arrived on October 2, brought around 400 Russian visitors to the state, offering a much-needed boost to the local tourism industry. To warmly welcome the guests, the Goa Tourism Department organized a traditional Goan reception, featuring Konkani brass bands and dancers, as well as the distribution of red rose buds to the arriving tourists.
The return of Russian tourists, following a period of reduced international travel, is expected to revitalize the local tourism scene. This year, there are plans for regular charter flights from Russia, which will play a crucial role in enhancing Goa’s tourism prospects during the season.
