On January 26, 2025, St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar officially commenced the hot-mixing of the Other District Road (ODR) linking Goa Velha and Agassaim. This road development project aims to improve connectivity and enhance commuting for residents in the constituency.
Hot-mixing involves resurfacing the road with asphalt, ensuring a smoother and more durable surface. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to upgrade local infrastructure, addressing concerns about road conditions and accessibility.
