At Lokotsav 2025, held from January 17 to 26, Art and Culture Minister Govind Gawde inaugurated the event’s first-ever Tribal Village. This initiative aims to highlight and support Goa’s indigenous artisans by providing them with a dedicated platform to showcase their traditional crafts and handmade products.

The Tribal Village features a variety of handcrafted goods, including pottery, textiles, and jewelry, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Goa’s tribal communities. This new addition to Lokotsav is a step towards preserving and promoting tribal craftsmanship while encouraging local artisans.
