Chief Minister Pramod Sawant recently expressed his congratulations to the newly elected members of the Harvalem Village Panchayat, who were elected on October 21, 2024. All five members, who are affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), include Ajay Malik, Mamta Divkar, Gauravi Naik, Asmita Malik, and Demago Malik, who was elected unopposed. In his remarks, Sawant emphasized the importance of their roles in serving the community and working towards the development of Harvalem​.
