MLA Vijai Sardesai recently met with distressed Kadamba Electric Vehicle (EV) bus drivers to address their grievances regarding salary hikes and job security. The drivers, employed under Olectra Greentech Limited, are pushing for an increase in their monthly pay from ₹18,000 to ₹25,000, along with a 40% annual raise, which they argue is necessary for their financial stability. Currently, the company is offering a 10% increase, which the drivers deem insufficient​.
