Health Minister Vishwajit Rane recently inspected the Chicalim Primary Health Centre (PHC) following discussions with Mauvin Godinho, MLA of Dabolim constituency. The visit aimed to evaluate healthcare infrastructure and ensure quality service delivery. Rane acknowledged the ongoing doctor and staff shortages across Goa’s health facilities, highlighting the urgent need to fill these vacancies.

Similar issues were raised in Bicholim’s Community Health Centre, where a shortage of technicians and doctors hampers operations. Minister Rane committed to recruiting more healthcare professionals, including sourcing talent from outside Goa if necessary.
